Bethesda E3 2015 Press Conference Review

All they had to do was show Fallout 4 and Doom 4 and they would’ve had a successful conference. So the additional announcement of Dishonored 2 was icing on an amazing cake.

Starting off with Doom was the greatest thing Bethesda could have done to fuel the show with energy, and they kept it going throughout the show, ending with more information for Fallout 4. Bethesda just put on a solid show, simple as that. Fallout 4 was announced to release on November 10 this year, which is great in a world where a game is shown and doesn’t come out for another six years. The announcement of the Pip Boy edition of FO4 coming with an actual Pip Boy seriously made me preorder that same edition the next day.

Battlecry and The Elder Scrolls Online looked mediocre in comparison of Fallout, Doom and Dishonored. It was quickly shown thankfully, and the real attention was on their biggest games. Bethesda started off E3 very strong, with two of the biggest games of this year’s show.

+A heavy focus on Fallout and Doom

+Dishonored 2

+No filler

-Battlecry & The Elder Scrolls Online

Grade: B+
